immigration.fyiBundle Builder assembles a court bundle: one paginated PDF with a cover masthead, a clickable index, section dividers, continuous page numbers, and the GMIAU per-PDF feature stack (PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL header, optional DRAFT watermark, optional encryption). Pick the matter type (tribunal appeals for the First-tier or Upper Tribunal, applications, judicial review, Court of Appeal) and the index sections, the default bundle title, and the cover masthead adapt to it.
It's the inbound companion to Evidence Exhibitor (exhibit-level packaging) and Filer (outbound case files). All three share the same Case Details, Backup, Config, and Settings tabs.
Identity for the bundle: matter type, GMIAU / matter references, parties (appellant · respondent · anonymity · party count · conjunction), preparer, and the document-protection toggles. Most fields pre-fill from Import Case Summary. These values flow into the cover masthead and the per-PDF metadata.
The work. One section per index heading; drop documents in, sort them, rename their index entries, set the bundle title / Custom Masthead, and Compile. The matter type chosen in Case Details decides which section scheme and which default title apply.
The reverse of building a bundle: drop a bundle PDF back in and Debundle reads its bookmark tree to give you its documents back, either loaded straight into the builder so you can fix one and rebundle, or saved as a ZIP (one PDF per document, or per index section). Good for un-binding a bundle a colleague sent, correcting a document, or pulling one back out. Works best on bundles built by this tool (they carry the section to document bookmark tree).
Save every tab's state as a single gmiau-bundle/1 JSON envelope, and restore it later. Home to the Clear client data danger-zone action too. Run Backup before Clear or Restore, because both wipe state.
Caseworker-level preferences that stick across cases (and survive a reinstall, because they live in the One File config, not just this browser): per-matter index sections + auto-routing keywords, bundle titles, party-label style, PDF body font, preparer defaults, and more.
App appearance (GMIAU Light / GMIAU Dark / system) plus the app font family + size. These sync across every GMIAU tool.
Q. Nothing happens when I click Compile.
A. You need at least one document in at least one section. The status line under the Compile button explains why.
Q. The cover shows the wrong title or heading.
A. The bundle title comes from the matter type (overridable in Config Bundle titles) and any Custom Masthead you set in the Bundle tab. A per-case Custom Masthead wins.
Q. Can I un-bundle a PDF a colleague sent me?
A. Yes, drop it into the Debundle tab. To fix and rebuild it, use Load into builder.
Q. Will my Config and theme follow me to another machine?
A. Theme + font sync across GMIAU tools via browser storage. Config preferences live in the One File config (your own Tools-GMIAU-…conf file), so export it from Config Config file and it travels.

The documents you load, the case references and the client names are confidential, so keep the produced files on this machine and send them only through your normal, approved channels.

Per-bundle-type section list and auto-routing keywords. Reorder, rename, recolour, add or remove sections. Changes apply on the next bundle of that type. Keywords are matched against filenames; the first matching section wins (so list specific keywords before broad ones). Per-case edits in the sidebar still override these defaults; use the sidebar "Save as default" to promote a per-case layout into here.
Changes save automatically. Numbering scheme applies to bundles built after the change. Exported file is named immigrationfyi-tools-<caseworker>.conf.
